The Visitor Information Center Program manages the Department’s nine Visitor Information Centers in Anthony, Chama, Gallup, Glenrio, La Bajada, Lordsburg, Raton, Santa Fe and Texico.
These facilities assist visitors once they arrive in New Mexico, as well as those at local, regional, statewide, national and international events. Tourist Counselors distribute approved tourism information, including maps, community literature, hotel, motel, and restaurant brochures, and information on statewide attractions. The centers also collect data on visitors to determine visitor profiles and advertising effectiveness.
The Program also manages the Mobile Visitor Information Center, which represents the state and the Department at attractions and events. Its primary purpose is to reach out-of-state residents and New Mexicans.TobyD.Martinez@state.nm.us Raton 100 Clayton Road 575-445-2761 firstname.lastname@example.org Chama US Highway 17 #2372 575-756-2235 email@example.com Glenrio (near Texas border) I-40 West Rest Area 575-576-2424 firstname.lastname@example.org Santa Fe 491 Old Santa Fe Trail Lamy building 505-827-7336 email@example.com LaBajada I-25 North Rest Area #26879E (South of Santa Fe) 505-424-0823 firstname.lastname@example.org Gallup (Manuelito) I-40 East Exit 3 Rest Area 505-905-4440 email@example.com Texico US Highway 60/70/84 #336 575-482-3321 firstname.lastname@example.org Anthony I-10 North mile marker 164 Rest Area Anthony, NM 575-882-2419 email@example.com Lordsburg I-10 East Exit 20 Rest Area 575-542-8149 firstname.lastname@example.org
