Advertising Program

The Advertising Program is responsible for all advertising and branding that emanates from the Department.  The program coordinates campaigns, creative strategy and media placement.  The purpose of the Department’s advertising efforts is to raise awareness of New Mexico as a visitor destination, drive traffic to its website and ultimately increase the number of visitors to New Mexico, expanding its economic base.

New Mexico Magazine Offers Industry Partners Regional Advertising Opportunity

New Mexico Magazine, a division of the Tourism Department, is offering industry partner advertisers an opportunity to participate in a multimedia effort through its 2013 Region Co-op Program.

This program will feature heightened coverage for each of New Mexico’s six tourism regions in a special advertising section in the magazine, appearing on a monthly basis.  In addition, New Mexico Magazine will provide applicable destination editorial for extended value and synergy. Advertising Program Offers Industry Partners Print Advertising Opportunities

The Department’s Advertising Partnership Program for Spring/Summer offers print advertising opportunities for industry partners. They include print options in publications such as Outside and Texas Monthly, as well as digital options that will be served in key consumer markets such as Dallas and Chicago. Each of the publications will build a New Mexico section (length to be determined by the total number of placements in each pub), anchored by the Tourism Department.  If you are interested in participating, please secure space as soon as possible. Asset Website Now Available for Industry Partners

The Tourism Department now provides an extensive New Mexico image and digital asset on-line library, designed to create a recognizable and distinguishable brand that embodies the core brand essence for New Mexico True and exemplifies the Land of Enchantment’s diverse beauty and offerings.

The purpose of the ‘New Mexico True’ asset website (http://media.nmtourism.org/) is to provide New Mexico’s industry partners with a simple way to gather and create promotional materials; and the media with a one-stop source for images and messaging. Visit http://media.nmtourism.org/.
